Development of Nested Polymerase Chain Reaction for Detection of Rabies

نویسندگان

چکیده

Abstract Rabies is an acute progressive and zoonotic disease which caused by the rabies virus. virus prototype belonging to genus lyssavirus in family Rhabdoviridae of order Mononegavirales. The aim this study was develop a nested reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (nRTPCR) for detection along with canine internal control monitor integrity extracted RNA. A pair outer inner primer targeting N gene evaluated β-actin as control. This nRTPCR can detect up 20 viral copy number.

Development of Multiplex Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction for Simultaneous Detection of Influenza A, B and Adenoviruses

Background and objective:Millions of people in developing countries lose their lives due to acute respiratory infections, such as Influenza A & B and Adeno viruses. Given the importance of rapid identification of the virus, in this study the researchers attempted to design a method that enables detection of influenza A, B, and adenoviruses, quickly and simultaneously. ...

Polymerase Chain Reaction of Mgc2 and 16S rRNA Genes for Detection of Mycoplasma gallisepticum

Mycoplasmas are very small bacteria lacking cell walls that belong to various genera within the class Mollicutes, and also the smallest organisms that can live independently. They are able to cause serious and chronic disease because of some unique characteristics. Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) is an important avian pathogen causing significant economical losses within the poultry industry. The...

Development of a Multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction for Differential Diagnosis of Canary Pox Virus

Background and Aims: A multiplex transcription-polymerase chain reaction (m-PCR) was developed for direct detection and discrimination between canarypox virus (CPV) and other avian poxvirus (APV). Materials and Methods: Three compatible primer sets were designed for m-PCR amplification of different loci fpv126, fpv140, and fpv167 located at highly conserved APV genes. Results: Results showed th...
